One of the most valuable resources to help bereaved parents heal from their loss is a sense of community. Support groups help those who have lost a child to understand and express their feelings, but understanding the components of a successful loss support group is crucial to truly help bereaved parents heal. This guide details each component of the support group session, the characteristics of a successful support group, and provides a full year of curriculum for both a general perinatal loss bereavement group and a miscarriage/early pregnancy loss group. Also includes a 9 month curriculum for subsequent pregnancy support, and 6 month curriculum for a TFMR group.
